Why this firm exists

Starrany Tax & Bookkeeping was born out of a painful lesson: a good business can still fail if the money isn’t managed with clarity, intention, and up‑to‑date information.

As a real estate professional and business owner, I knew how to generate income and create opportunities. What I didn’t have was consistent bookkeeping, forward‑looking tax planning, or a clear picture of what I actually owed. I focused on deals and growth, pushing the “back office” aside. Eventually, that caught up with me.

When the dust settled and the books were finally pulled together, I was hit with a large tax bill I wasn’t prepared for. The combination of surprise taxes, inconsistent records, and financial stress ultimately led to the end of my business. It wasn’t a lack of effort or talent. It was a lack of systems, up‑to‑date numbers, and proactive planning. That experience changed everything for me.

Painful lesson - New mission

Instead of walking away from business entirely, I decided to go deep into the very areas that had sunk me: bookkeeping, tax, and financial systems.
